Here at CTH we specialise in geckos that live in New Caledonia and other islands in the South Pacific. This is home to some of the most popular species of geckos. Most geckos are arboreal, meaning that they live off the ground, in branches. They will eat both fruit, insects and may also eat other smaller geckos in the wild!

New Caledonian geckos have adapted to a life of moderate heat and humidity and most are crepuscular which means they are active at dusk and dawn, mostly hiding away from predators during the daytime.
